I am Made Adi. I work as general manager, Kindergarten (PAUD) facilitator and world orientation teacher for all levels from kindergarten to Junior and Senior Highschool. Seeing young children who don’t live in their ‘world’ makes me really sad. It drives me to change the teaching style and also my own parenting style so that children can find their true world. And BSB is the place to learn and practice it!

I also see a very different education style if we compare it with the formal system of education practiced in most schools. What’s so special, precious, and unique about BSB?  A democratic, holistic and humanistic approach and also the teacher training. I was immediately trained in Pedagogy and Didactic, and Storytelling. Effective and efficient evaluation practice with the team; Getting into the habit of reading books; Communicating both written and oral; Projects as self-development, broadening knowledge knowing and accepting each other personally; Holistic way of thinking; Developing curiosity; Work ethic; Sharing; Critical thinking; Discussion/dialogue; Giving and Receiving Feedback; Being innovative; Broadening knowledge.

This place should remain to exist because its mission of spreading the BSB method has not been completed. This place is the only one that creates a democratic, holistic, and humanist learning atmosphere. This place is a place for young teachers to be creative. This place helps parents understand how to take care of their children, parents are always welcome. In a formal school that is not at all usual.
