Coaching parents

Parent participation and- coaching are very important at LFLB. The fact that the centre has been here for more than 20 years and that it is run by Indonesian people, makes it easily accesible to parents. During the first few weeks, new parents are invited to get to know the team and other parents and to see their children settle in. All parents get the book

The development of your child until the 7th year,

which was written by the team. In the monthly parent meetings, this book is discussed with them.

We try to involve the parents in the development of their child as much as possible. Parents receive a report about projects and children in higher grades organise a bi-monthly performance, where parents and relatives are invited. Moreover, we make room for individual parenting questions. The foundation provides help and funding for those struggling with practical obstacles to receive education. Parents that can afford education contribute financially

Anggi’s father: “A great place! They match the children’s personalities!
Ithan’s mother: “I entrust my third son to the centre as well. It has proven itself with my two elder children. They are confident, eager to learn, and they do well at home and in class.
Naren’s Grandmother: “I think the way of learning here is beneficial for my grandson: play ánd learn. He is very active and curious. This place stimulates the mind. And he is more considerate towards other children.
Batur’s mother: A completely different type of education which makes me very happy. My son has changed noticeably. At home he often sets the right example: “No trash! The earth doesn’t like that!”
